Through the end of September, Oregonians are participating in SOLVE's annual Beach and Riverside Cleanup.

SOLVE is a statewide non-profit that encourages people to come together and help our environment.

This is a volunteer event aimed to improve the health of our waterways through litter pickup.

Since the event's start, more than 2.5 million pounds of trash and debris has been collected across Oregon.

You can find out how to take part in the cleanup on SOLVE’s website.
